This was part of an introduction to SolidCam and the HAAS Mini Mill. We were given a time, size, and tool constraint. I felt inspired to make a dinosaur because I have always had a fondness for them. I designed this specifically to hide the holes needed to mount the part in the machine. Those mounting holes were used to attach the separately machined brass legs. Additionally, scales were laser cut from acrylic. The final step was anodization of the aluminum body.
