This project was an introduction to the Haas TL-1. It is a fully machined chess set and board. A combination of both brass and aluminum was used to allow for the center of mass to be lower on each piece. The board has 64 chamfered holes that allow for smooth and easy placement of the chess pieces. This project was designed and machined by myself, Erica Aduh, Pele Collins, and Langston MacDiarmid.
